Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Muhammed Babandede as the acting controller general of Nigeria Immigration Service.
The former Immigration boss Martin Abeshi who was
appointed by the President on August 27, 2015, was reportedly fired
after holding the position in an acting capacity for six days. At the
time of his appointment, he had already been slated to proceed on a
three-month terminal leave beging from October 2015.
